The JGC Film Appreciation Club has selected an array of themes for its 2018 screenings.  As 2018 has been announced as the Year of Youth, we will begin with this theme for our first screening. The next theme, Scotland, aims to complement local history and the Haddington 700 celebrations. In addition to the regular screening in March, we will also be having a Scotland Film Season on four Saturdays in March, so do look out for details on our webpage, Facebook page, as well as posters around the county. The next screening which will be held in April is themed Family. Subsequently, the theme of Literature aims to complement the abundance of resources provided by Haddington Library, while the theme of Art aims to promote the various exhibitions and displays organised by the John Gray Centre Museum. We have also chosen the theme of Diversity to complement Black History Month in October. And to commemorate the end of World War 1, we have selected Conflict as the theme for November, in which we will also be having a War Film Season. To end the year, we have chosen a Winter themed film as a pre-festive celebration.

So do come and join us for an evening full of visual pleasures and vibrant conversation. The JGC Film Appreciation Club is always looking for new members! Anyone interested in joining our Film Appreciation Club need only pay an annual membership fee of £15. Individual screenings are also open to non-members for a donation of £3.50 towards costs.

Due to license restrictions, we are unable to announce the title of the films scheduled for 2018. Please see the image below for screening themes and dates.
