Interactive exhibition events at the John Gray Centre

A series of free interactive events by some of the artists exhibiting in our current temporary exhibition celebrating the past four years of the East Lothian Visual Artists and Craft Makers Awards, taking place through March, April and May.

Tuesday, 12 March, 7–9pm, in the Star Room: Talk and Discuss with Ettie Spencer

Find out more about Ettie’s ‘Whose Waves?’ art installation and see her film. This will be an interactive group discussion.

Saturday, 23 March, 10.30–11.30am (approx.), Haddington: A SLOW walk into spring, with Karen Gabbitas
Join Karen on a contemplative slow walk near Haddington. Location and meeting details supplied on booking.

Tuesday, 26 March,  7–9pm, in the Star Room: Talk and Discuss: The SLOW pace life
Come and discuss the merits of the SLOW approach to life. This will be an interactive group discussion.

Friday, 26 April,  5.30–8pm, in the Star Room: Seminar for East Lothian visual artists and craft makers
Find out more about the East Lothian award scheme for local artists and craft makers.

Sunday, 5 May,  1.30–3.30pm, in the exhibition space: Family interactive session
Join the artist Lucy Dunce in finding the bizarre characters and faces hidden in discarded newspaper scraps! Suitable for ages 511.
