Dig deeper!

If you want to find out more about archaeology in East Lothian you’ve come to the right place!

We often run walks and events during the summer, alongside the family activities on Sundays in the John Gray Centre, which often cover archaeology.   Every September it’s Archaeology Fortnight, part of Scottish Archaeology Month, where there are opportunities to dig, survey and explore the archaeology and history of East Lothian. If all this isn’t enough, there’s our annual archaeology conference in November too.

Keep up to date with what’s going on by joining our mailing list – contact us at [email protected]  You can also follow us on twitter – @ELCarchaeology

On these pages you can find out more about the themes in the exhibition and download some activities to try. We are still working on these pages, so keep an eye open for updates and changes!
