Made originally in the Ayrshire village of Mauchline, a large variety of wooden souvenirs, such as this pincushion, were available in late Victorian times.
This pincushion is made from two polished wood discs enclosing a velvet pad. Applied to one disc is a circular transfer print of North Berwick, from the west.
