This fascinating exhibition at the John Gray Centre Museum explores the history of this East Lothian family and their links to local and national affairs including the reign of Mary, Queen of Scots, politics, horticulture, agricultural reform, law and land management. Highlights include paintings and rare objects. A programme of lectures exploring key themes will be staged throughout the display.
