So recently the John Gray Centre took a bold new step and has now established a page for itself on Trip Advisor.  As you know we exist to make the heritage and culture of East Lothian accessible to anyone with an interest in it, but there is always room for improvements so we love to hear back from our visitors to understand how they felt about the service they received. We were obviously flattered by the very first review that we received on this site being so positive and all credit to the members of the team who helped make this visit so memorbale for this group.  To be told we had provided a “fantastic experience” is heart warming and we hope to live up to this in future.

We hope that our presence on Trip Advisor along with our other web activities will help other people to realise what they can achieve if they come and visit us!

The resources that you can find at Archives & Local History can bring to life the stories of the long gone members of your family.  It is only by asking the questions about your past that we can help you find out if the answers exist. It is through helping people access these resources, and by letting them know what resources exist that we hope to spread the word to a wider and wider audience. So when you do make a trip to the John Gray Centre we would appreciate it if you feel inspired to leave a bit of feedback either with the staff or by going to the Trip Advisor page!
